Multi-purpose senior centers are
funded by Legacy in 10 counties. These centers provide services to older
citizens such as hot noon meals, home delivered meals, recreation,
transportation, outreach, intake for an employment and training program for
older workers, educational opportunities and other services to help older
persons remain independent in their homes.
Each Senior Center is unique in
their own way because each senior center offers a variety of different
activities, services and opportunities to their seniors.

and recreation activities for seniors, such as games, billiards, movies, and
much more... |

Alot of the centers
offer facilities to do special trades such as embroidery and the art of
quilt making. And yes, for those of you interested these quilts are up for
sale! |
